Club makes the long trek to Lake Lopez
For the first time in the 15 year history of the Castaic Bass Club, members made the
long trek up the 101 freeway to this top Central Coast Lake. The lake did not disappoint
as several teams found quality fish throughout the weekend.
Great job to guest fisherman Charlie Weyer, who teamed with new member Matt
Thompson for a two day, 10 bass total of 26.35lbs, led by the event big fish of 4.27lbs.
Great job guys!!
Taking second were Jeff Jue and Eddie Car with a two day total of nine bass going
25.13lbs, with a kicker of 4.08lbs. There is no doubt that Jeff's
vast knowledge of the lake contributed to the team's success. Great job gentlemen!
Taking thirds was Skeeter Pro Mike Lander, who teamed with Brian Sasahara for ten
bass totaling 20.99lbs. Great job guys!!
