Club wins challenge event
Our September tournament was our annual challenge event, which took
place out of the West Ramp on September 16th. Joining us members from
South Orange County Bass Club and the Bassin' Buddies club.
Castaic Bass club was able to take the cup again this year, with Mike Lander
and new member Carl Thompson teaming up with a nice 12.31lb limit, caught
out of the back of Slalom Cove. Great job guys!
Taking second were Brendon O'Dell and Nick Langer with two fish totaling
5.67lbs, led by the event big fish of 4.57lbs. Great job!!
Taking third on this ultra tough day were the editor and Ralph with three fish
totaling 5.2lbs.We caught our fish on boils in old Outhouse Cove.
A huge thanks to all of those who helped make This day a success. Great job
to Linda Bell and Donna Iljin for helping set up the after tournament BBQ.
Thanks also to Carl and Matt Thompson for helping to cook a majority of the
food. And great Job to Victor on the weigh in and Mr Iljin for the Computer
work.
